    Yup, am organised to go with a local ghiilie. Donal o'Shea I think. Still big enough wind forecast I think for Friday but rain forecast has changed a bit now - 60% chance of a drop of rain - if any of it is to believed!

    donal is neils dad u will be grand he is a good gillie and will put you in the right spots
    if i were u i would get some flies like bibio, red arse green peter,claret bumble, black pennell,watsons fancy and i would also pick up some small double salmon flies like the hairy mary,thunder and lightning and silver stoat
    the fish are big at this time of year and we also put a salmon fly on the point u never know u might get a salmon too but the big trout like the thunder and lightning fly
    i say the weather should be grand you need a wave there so dont be worring too much about the winds and enjoy every minute of it

    Myself and my buddy are heading down to Currane on Friday for a few days, anyone know if any particular flies are workinng well right now?
