River Spey Yesterday

Well our day arrived for fishing yesterday at West Elchies and the grue had vanished from the couple of days before, that had wasted the river.

OTD had a couple of kelts, I had one kelt and lost one (must have been a Spanking new Springer ;D ;D) in Delen pool, badcaster, unfortunately dropped one when his poly leader knot let go. Here is a few pictures of Wester Elchies yesterday

A nice beat with a good ghillie and I hope to return some day, when the fish are up.

fished it for a week a few years ago ,had a grilse first cast ,thought i was in for a bumper week unfortunately that was it.
